: the balcony was our favourite, we made do putting a blanket on the floor as the chairs were not comfortable to put outside but it was truly the highlight of the whole stay. The bed was comfortable, there was a tv and a shared fridge (not in the room but on the floor). The location was also fantastic, bus stops all around and genuinely lovely restaurants and cafes around. The pizza place across the road is a recommend! Tony (the owner) gave us a map of the city and told us we could contact him when necessary.
: When we showed up we rang the bell without knowing if it was actually working, after a while became concerned. We had called the number on the emails and our UK phones wouldn’t connect. We managed to find another number and finally were able to reach Tony who seemed slightly surprised we were there! After 15 minutes or so he arrived, showed us around the building, gave us a map of the city and showed us to the WiFi password. Most importantly, this place is *not*, in any sense, a B&B. Nor is it a hotel. It is a residential flat converted into individual en-suite rooms. There are limited facilities, a shower, a toilet, a bed, and a tv. There is a shared fridge and (small) freezer on the floor. No kettle or microwave, or plates/bowls/cutlery (this was disappointing to us as we were trying to save money by not eating out every night). The whole place is sightly grimy, doors and windows are a little hard to open, and the shower was broken slightly in that the head did not stay up and the water took a very long time to heat up, but worked fine eventually! Also, there is no upkeep during the stay. If you’re expecting the bed to be made and your rubbish to be emptied (Tony told us we would have to take our own trash out), this place is not for you. Strangely, we were replenished with toilet roll and the shutters were closed, which means someone had come in the rooms. Having said this, we paid very little for this trip and that is reflected in what we got. We had a lovely stay and would be happy to stay again. There was nothing terrible about this place, just a few inconveniences.
